Supreme Court Sides With Democrats On Ohio Voter Registration

The Supreme Court today sided with Ohio’s Democratic secretary of state in a dispute with the Republican Party over voter registration, reversing a lower court’s order that Democrats said could have disenfranchised thousands of voters in a crucial battleground state. (Washington Post) The unsigned opinion vacated a temporary restraining order requiring the state to identify and provide counties with lists of new voters whose data file did not match state records.
