Dole Claims God On Her Side; Hagan Charges ‘False Witness’ [VIDEO]

God has entered North Carolina politics in the final week, with Sen. Elizabeth Dole placing a controversial ad on TV that claims her opponent, Mayor Kay Hagan, is a godless atheist. (Charlotte Observer) Hagan, a Presbyterian Sunday school teacher, fires back with an ad accusing Dole of bearing false witness.

The Charlotte Observer, Greensboro News & Record, and even the local Fox News affiliate are critical of Dole’s ad.
