GOP Losing Even In N.H.

Freshman Senator John E. Sununu (R-NH) has narrowed a 20-point gap but is still down 7% in polls against Democratic challenger, former Gov. Jeanne Shaheen, in traditionally-Republican New Hampshire. (Washington Post) Barack Obama is ahead here 51-43, according to Pollster.com. Sununu, at age 44, is the youngest Senator, and as scion of former Gov. (and Chief of Staff to President George H.W. Bush) John H. Sununu, he has been seen as a rising star.
