Politically Motivated Attack Hoax Had ‘Inconsistencies’

[Updated] A 20-yo Texas volunteer for John McCain, Ashley Todd, who reported being robbed and assaulted in Pittsburgh as a result of her pro-McCain sticker or buttons, has confessed to making up the story, according to Pittsburgh police. (KDKA) She had already fielded calls from Sen. McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin, and was featured on the right-wing Drudge Report blog. (WTAE)
