Palin Appointed Donors, Friends To Key Posts
Nearly 25% of Gov. Sarah Palin’s appointments to Alaska state posts went to campaign contributors or their relatives, some of them unqualified, according to a review of state records by the Los Angeles Times. Several of her leading campaign donors received state-subsidized, “industrial development loans” of up to $3.6 million for business ventures of questionable public value, the Times writes.
