NY Times Editorial Board Endorses Obama

The editorial board of The New York Times endorsed Senator Barack Obama for president. (NYT) The editorial says he “has the will and the ability to forge the broad political consensus that is essential to finding solutions to this nation’s problems.”

Of Mr. McCain, it says he has “retreated farther and farther to the [right-wing] fringe of American politics, running a campaign on partisan division, class warfare and even hints of racism.”
