London’s Tory Mayor Endorses Obama [OPINION]

London’s Conservative Party mayor, Boris Johnson, writes that Sen. Barack Obama should be elected president. (Telegraph) “Democracy and capitalism are the two great pillars of the American idea,” Johnson writes, and George W. Bush has discredited both in the eyes of many people through the occupation of Iraq and the banking system collapse. Obama, by contrast, is talented, compassionate, offers the hope of rejuvenating America, and his election could signal a triumph over racism.
