Intel Unveils New Laptop Platform

Intel is introducing a new platform in 2009 called Calpella based on the upcoming 45-nm Nehalem architecture, that improves energy efficiency and battery life, in part by moving the memory controller and graphics chip closer to the CPU. (Computerworld)
