New Electron Crystals Could Extend Moore’s Law

Physicists at McGill University have discovered “quasi-three-dimensional” electron crystals that could lead to more tightly-packed transistors or development of new transistors, with the promise that faster chips will not bump up against current physical  limitations. (InformationWeek)
