Financial Crisis Hitting Telcos

AT&T and Verizon are increasingly vulnerable to effects of the financial crisis, as customers cut back on their phone lines and customer acquisition costs rise, say analyst, while Sprint Nextel’s venture with Clearwire needs an additional $2 billion from credit markets. (NYT)
