Citi Sells India Unit To Tata For $505M

Citigroup agreed Wednesday to sell its India-based back-office unit, Citigroup Global Services, to Indian software giant Tata Consultancy Services for $505 million in cash, in order to reduce operating expenses and renew its focus on core financial-services operations. (WSJ)
