eBay Cuts Jobs, Openings

eBay said it is laying off some 1,000 full-time employees, cutting several hundred temporary jobs, and reducing the number of open positions. The company will take a pretax restructuring charge of between $70 million and $80 million in the fourth quarter of 2008. (CNET)
