FEATURE: Billionaire Branson Aids Climate Research

Richard Branson’s space-travel company Virgin Galactic is helping researchers at the the U.S. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration collect greenhouse-gas data.  The billionaire’s carrier aircraft, which can fly higher than research aircraft, has been equipped with scientific instruments to collect data in the earth’s upper atmosphere.
