Morgan Stanley Deployed $23B To Prop Up Funds

Morgan Stanley disclosed in a regulatory filing that clients withdrew $46 billion from money-market accounts in September, forcing the firm to buy $23 billion of securities held by the funds to keep them afloat. (Bloomberg)
