Ex-Bear Stearns Manager Interfered With Probe, U.S. Says

One of two former Bear Stearns hedge-fund managers reportedly tried to “influence” witnesses during a federal probe of the investment bank’s March demise.  Previously, the men were charged with misleading investors - including Barclays- about the health of two subprime-related funds that collapsed in June 2007.
