Wal-Mart’s Japan Unit Will Close Stores, Cut Jobs

Wal-Mart Stores’s Japanese unit, Seiyu, will close 20 of its 390 stores and cut some 350 jobs. The chain also plans on renovating 100 stores to regain sales lost to other Japanese retailers. (Bloomberg)
